The project led by the IINFACTS researchers Pedro Fonte, José das Neves and Bruno Sarmento: 

LyoCandy Fruit – Liofilização de fruta natural com formas e revestimentos edíveis won the 3rd prize in the iUP25k Business Ideas Contest 2015.

The aim of this project was the development of products based on lyophilization of fresh fruit. The edible coatings used in lyophilized fruit, allows to obtain products from feed area to nutraceutical area. This whole project was developed in IINFANTS.
