The Instituto Universitário de Ciências da Saúde [1] (IUCS) is a publically accredited, private Portuguese institution of higher education specialised in the health sciences as published in the D.R. nº 76, series I of April 20, 2015.
The Instituto Universitário de Ciências da Saúde (IUCS) resulted from an alternation in the public interest of the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde-Norte approved by an order of the Portuguese Ministry of Education published in the D.R. nº 181, Series I (Decree-Law nº 250/89 of August 8 1989) which conferred this status in Ordinance 906/93 of September 20, 1993 (D.R. nº 221, I Series B).
The institute is currently located at Rua Central de Gandra, 1317 | 4585-116 Gandra Paredes, Portugal and it offers two doctoral degrees, four masters degrees, three integrated master’s degrees and four first cycle degrees.
