Mest Analises Clinicas

About the program/cycle of studies

The Master's Degree in Clinical Analysis is an advanced degree that provides students with specialized and versatile training in laboratory diagnosis and in the validation of analytical methodologies applied to this field. It is a specialized course lasting three semesters of course work that correspond to 18 ECTS, and a fourth semester of internship or research work, corresponding to 42 ECTS. The curricular component continues on naturally from Bachelor's Degrees or Integrated Master's Degrees, in fields such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Science, and is appropriate for all of those that have Clinical Analysis as a centre of interest. Taking advantage of the IUCS capacity and solid teaching experience in the health field, the teaching methods and the faculty ensure that students acquire solid skills in the execution, validation, and interpretation of laboratory techniques and their results, whether applied to prevention or to the diagnosis and monitoring of disease. The Master’s promotes evident skills in Clinical Analysis, exploring the context of research or professional practice throughout the fourth semester of the course.
