Deeply conscious of the need for diversification and consolidation of the strategies inherent to its mission, CESPU decided to differentiate itself from other educational institutions through its quality. Thus, in December of 2006, it received quality certification from the company LUSAENOR, and as such became a pioneer in the field of private, higher education in terms of its quality management system.

CESPU’s goal is to continually improve their education processes. To this end, in the processes outlined for both university and polytechnic education, procedures are defined - from the planning of activities to the evaluation of the satisfaction of the various interested parties (the stakeholders) - including those which involve the allocation of material and human resources required for the achievement of those objectives.

The importance of this issue assumes a preponderant role within the global market, where our country has come to register a significant growth, given the number of certified companies. CESPU, geographically inserted in the district of Porto, and through its quality certification received at the end of 2006, will contribute to this steady, incremental growth.
